restaurants/bars
The Quebec
– located on the pedestrian street (Rue de France). Fantastic
prices and good food. Waiters really friendly and appreciate you
trying to order in French.
Ma Nolan’s – Irish bar in the old Nice. Great atmosphere, fantastic English food. English football matches shown. Good bands and free internet access (when working). Like a traditional English/Irish pub. English speaking staff – for when you’re sick of speaking French.
The square around Ma Nolans has loads of other nice restaurants – Spaghetissimo is really, really nice and reasonable. Worth a visit also is the little market selling little gifts and unusual things.
