APARTMENT DETAILS (2 BEDROOMS, SLEEPS 2-4)
As you walk out of the lift and through the front door, you enter a large hallway that leads you past the twin bedroom and straight into the lounge and dining area.
LOUNGE & DINING AREA
The lounge has traditional parquet floors and a large sofa-bed that sits four and opens out easily into a full-size double bed. The window faces west and is on the same side as the two bedrooms. The end of the lounge merges into the dining area, which has a glass round table that can sit up to six adults. For entertainment, there is a TV, DVD player (and a selection of DVDs), music system (with line in cable for MP3 players), board games as well as a selection of English paperbacks (we operate on a 'swap-it' basis - if you want to take a book home, just make sure you've left another one behind for the next guests).
THE 2 BEDROOMS (sleeps 4)
The main bedroom is spacious and has a big double bed and an impressive set of built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and under-bed storage. Both the bedrooms have parquet flooring and tall French windows (with shutters) looking out on the quiet courtyard and nice views of palm trees. All the beds are really comfy - as we want you to sleep well so that you tell all your friends how great this apartment is.
KITCHEN
We pride ourselves on making sure that the kitchen has everything we would expect when we go on holiday: dishwasher, washing machine, big fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle as well as all the pots, pans and cooking ustensils you should need. It also has the original tomettes (traditional Nicois floor tiles) and a breakfast bar and three bar stools.
BATHROOM
There is a bath with an integrated shower, a sink and toilet. The floor tiles are also the original mosaic bathroom tiles of the period. There's a hair dryer, too.
Thanks to the open hallway runing through the apartment, the place always feels spacious and airy. When it gets warm, we open all the windows and get a refreshing breeze coming from the kitchen window through to the lounge and bedrooms. And as the area is quiet, you can leave the windows open through the night.
FACILITIES/EQUIPMENT
For sleeping - all duvets, pillows and bed linen are supplied.
WiFi - very fast broadband
Entertainment - TV (with BBC World, Sky News), DVD player (we have a small collection of 20 English-language DVDs - but please bring your own too - Region 2 only), music system (radio, CD player & line-in cable for MP3 players), a selection of books and board games.
Cooking/Cleaning - ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, ironing board, iron, mop & bucket, brush.
Children's accessories - travel cot, high chair.
Bathroom - towels are supplied, however, please bring your own beach towels. We have also included a hair dryer.
Shopping service - on arrival you will find water, milk, tea, coffee and sugar in the apartment. If you are arriving late, or don't fancy doing grocery shopping as soon as you get to Nice, we can also do some shopping for you. Just let us know.
A bottle of chilled rose will be waiting for you on arival. Just pour it out, sit back and relax. You are now on holiday!
